
Spouse & Partner Visas
You can apply for Marriage Visitor Visa if you and your partner planning to get married in the UK.
But if you plan to live in the UK on permanent basis , you need to apply for a Family of a Settled Person Visa where your partner should be on one of the followings:

A British citizen

Settled in the UK

Someone with humanitarian protection, for example if they have refugee status
Apply as a partner or spouse
To apply for this visa both of you and your partner must be 18 or older
Your partner need to be either:

A British citizen
-
Have settled in the UK such as having indefinite leave to remain(ILR), settled status or proof of permanent residence

Be refugee or have humanitarian protection in the UK
You and your partner must to live together permanently in the UK after you have been granted the visa.
There are requirements which you need to prove that you:

Have a good level of English
-
Are able to financially support yourself and your dependants
initial stay for 2.5 years, and 6 months if you apply as a fiancé, fiancée or proposed civil partner.
Proof of your income
Income of at least £18,600 a year if:

you’re applying as a partner
-
you want to settle in the UK (get ‘indefinite leave to remain’) within 5 years
You are allowed to use your savings as mean of income as well.
Proof of your income
You’ll need to submit proof of your income with your application. You must include:

6 months bank statements showing your incomes

6 months of payslips
-
A letter from an employer, dated and on headed paper
Application Fees

£1,523 if you are applying from outside the UK to join your partner.

£1,033 if you are applying inside the UK.
